Commercial Technology Adaptation
This training category introduces the practical skills required to design, power, and deploy fit-for-purpose technical solutions using commercially available equipment in operational environments.
Participants will learn how to calculate device power requirements, build custom battery solutions aligned to mission duration, and create effective antennas and network configurations to ensure reliable performance. A strong emphasis is placed on the operational advantage of using commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) devices to protect both physical and digital cover, including sourcing everyday equipment locally and transforming it into highly capable technical surveillance tools. The training also covers concealment techniques and the creation of discreet hides, enabling equipment to be deployed effectively without attracting attention.
