3D CAD Modelling & 3D Printing
COURSE AIM
The aim of this course is to develop participants’ understanding of the complete process for designing and producing task-specific technical objects using 3D modelling and additive-manufacturing technology.
Training Overview
Through controlled, practical training, participants are introduced to 3D digital CAD modelling, design preparation, equipment configuration, material considerations and the printing process. The programme also covers appropriate post-production, finishing and quality-assurance activities.
On completion, participants will be better prepared to design, manufacture and finish simple, fit-for-purpose objects supporting authorised technical-integration requirements.
